What it is
Braces use fixed brackets and wires to gradually move teeth into the correct position. They can treat a wider range of alignment and bite problems than aligners, including more complex cases.
Who it's for
- Crowded or crooked teeth
- Noticeable gaps between teeth
- Bite problems such as overbite, underbite, or crossbite
- Children, teens, or adults whose case needs more correction than aligners can provide
Who it isn't for
- If avoiding a visible appliance for the full treatment duration matters to you, ceramic braces or aligners (where suitable) are worth discussing first
- Very poor oral hygiene increases the risk of decay around brackets, so that needs addressing before or alongside treatment; our team won't gloss over this risk

How long does treatment take?

Are there diet restrictions?
Yes, hard, sticky, and very chewy foods should be avoided to prevent damaging the brackets or wires.
